June 8, 1926 – January 23, 2012. Passed away peacefully at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre in St. John’s, NL. Loved forever by her children: son David Sage of Guelph, ON, daughter Allison Sage (Ken Cranford) of Brantford, ON, daughter Sue McFadden (Kevin Vaters) of Calvert, NL. Leaving to mourn, her sisters: Janet Garnett (Bolingbroke) and Muriel Brown (Bolingbroke), both of Toronto, nieces Judy Royle and Liz Schlee, and numerous family members. Predeceased by siblings, Helene Yates (Bolingbroke) of Montreal, QC, and Ron Bolingbroke of Toronto. Sincere gratitude to the staff at Alderwood Estates, Witless Bay, NL, for their kindness, dedication and professionalism. A special thanks to the incredible staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the Miller Centre. Cremation has taken place at Jo’s request.
