BABINEAU, RACHEL - 1931 - 2012 - Rachel Babineau, formerly of Upton Street passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in Notre Dame, NB, a daughter of the late Arthur and Henriette (Bourque) Babineau. She will be sadly missed by her brother Paul Babineau (Laurence) of Riverview, special friend Andréa Richard, two sister-in-law, Laurise Babineau and Marilyn Doucette (Babineau) as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Rachel was predeceased by her lifelong friend Roy Jardine, two sisters; Jeannette Babineau and Lucille Bastarache as well as one brother Zephyr (Jeff).
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation with on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturday January 28 from 9:00 to 10:20 am. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10:30 am followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances in Rachel's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
