May 24, 1917 - January 25, 2012

On January 25, 2012 Lu went to be with her Lord, and to join her husband Frank; her son Jim; her grandson-in-law Jason and her great grandson Zach.

Our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother will be greatly missed by the entire family but we are also grateful that she is finally at rest. Lu has endured several years of declining health, with the last few months being especially difficult.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bester who was always so kind to her and could always make her laugh. We also appreciate the kindness and good care given to her by the staff at Coquihalla-Gillis House.

Mom's wishes were not to have a service, however if so desired donations can be made to the Make a Wish Foundation in memory of her great grandson, Zachary Laird.
