Tedford, Robert Garth “Bob” – 72, Kemptown passed away suddenly on January 25, 2012 at home. Born in Truro, he was a son of Donald Tedford, Truro and the late Myra (Richards) Tedford. He is survived by his wife Irene (Swan); daughter, Dawn Tedford (John deWit), Toronto; son, Dayn (Melanie) Tedford, West New Annan; grandchildren, Stephanie and Jonathan deWit, Kasey, Sammi and Kasson Tedford; sister, Marilyn MacWha, Upper Brookside; former brother-in-law, Jerry MacWha, Brookfield; four nieces. Bob loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially riding his golf cart with his canine companion, Haley. He also enjoyed his hobby of woodcarving. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 1 – 2 pm followed by a memorial service at 2 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Lori Ramsey officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Forest Hills Cemetery, Denmark. Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
