It is with great sadness that the family of the late Janet Hynes announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the age of 59 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Jenny Hynes of Toronto, four brothers: David of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Chesley Jr. (Cora) of Saint John, New Brunswick, Tony of Alberta, Danny (Theresa) of Stephenville, eight sisters: Mary (Wallace) Jesso of Ship Cove, Debbie (Finty) Kendall of Abraham’s Cove, Joan Hynes of Stephenville, Kay (Eric) Gregson of Calgary, Geraldine Rotchford of Fort McMurray, Dale Hynes of Stephenville, Terri Hynes of Fort McMurray, Callista (Alvin) Tallack of Cape St. George, one grandchild, Jada and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Chesley and Regina, brothers, Ivan and Junior. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Sunday, January 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with cremation to follow. Interment will take place on Tuesday, January 31st. at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
