DAY, A. Wayne – September 17, 1953 - January 26, 2012. Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 26, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer, Wayne Day of South Dildo, aged 58 years. Predeceased by his father, Duke Day, father-in-law, Josiah Clarke and sister-in-law, Jean Vokey. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are: his loving wife of 37 years, Marilyn; daughter, Jennifer (Darryl); sons: Dwayne (Sandra) and Chad (Nicole); six precious grandchildren: Aaron, Colby, Joshua, Rachel, Isabelle and Cameron. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Alma Day; brother Reg ( Ellen); sisters: Jean (Carl), Sandra (Tony), Beverly (Gerald), Glenda (Craig) and Jackie (Bruce); mother-in-law, Doreen Clarke; brothers-in-law: Wayne (Diane), Dave, Gerry (Debbie), John (Vera), Lloyd, Doug; sisters-in-law: Goldie (Terry) and Joanne (Steve), as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Friday, January 27th, 1:00 - 10:00 pm, Saturday, January 28, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. The funeral service will be held from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blaketown on Saturday, January 28th at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
