The death occurred peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on January 28, 2012, of Kenneth “Rae” MacFarlane of Donagh, formerly of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, age 58 years.
Cherished father of Dylan Gosbee (Jenine), Rae Anne Gosbee (Trent), Lacie Gosbee, Jessica Gosbee, Fallon Larter, Jamie Lynn and Joel Beacom. Son of the late Earl and Ruby (nee Carver) MacFarlane and the brother of Cathy Bourque, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Predeceased by brothers Jackie, Billy and Robbie MacFarlane. Special uncle to Amadea (MacFarlane) MacFadyen, Saint John, New Brunswick, and Jeffery MacFarlane (Amy), Charlottetown P.E.I., and predeceased by nephew Joseph Bourque, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Cherished Grampy to Braven and Brooklyn and special brother-in-law of Suzanne Burns-Chisholm (Ron) (Billy MacFarlane), aunt Margaret MacFarlane, and aunt Phyllis Roberts. Also fondly remembered by many great-nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home. No visitation by personal request. A private family service to celebrate Rae’s life will be held at the MacFarlane residence Monday ,January 30, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m.
