On November 4, 2006, Marie Bent passed away at her home. Born in Lebanon in 1923, Marie travelled much of the world working as a registered nurse in the 1940's and 50's, coming to Ocean Falls, B.C. in 1956, where she met and married her husband, Roy. In 1970, she and her family moved to Kamloops, where she has resided since. She will be sadly missed by her children, Clifford (Denise) and Carol (Cliff), grandchildren Crystal and Jessica, Courtenay and Justin. She also leaves her brother, Elias, of Vancouver, sister Esperance, and much treasured Aunt Virginia, and their families, of New Jersey. An informal service will be held at Marie's home, 561 Gordonel Road, Kamloops, on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome.
