AL TAYLOR 1920 ~ 2006 Alvin "Al" Arthur Taylor, a veteran of World War II and a long time resident of Kamloops, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 12, 2006. Al was born on December 14, 1920 in Armstrong, B.C. Al is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Joyce, his children; Ron (Carol), Bill (Darleen), Glen (Diana), Marla (Garnett), Joan (Gary), Bruce (Kris), and Bob (Sally), 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Filek, as well as the staff of Pine Grove Extended Care for their wonderful care of Al these past few months. A Memorial Tea will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2006 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Tea Room, 285 Fortune Drive.
