Passed peacefully away on January 25, 2012 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Centre at the age of 66. He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Melvina Saunders; brothers, Harvey, William, Eli and Harold; sisters, Adurey; fiancée, Dorothy Hussey. He leaves to mourn his sons, Jason Saunders, Terence (Tracy) Saunders, Everett (Tawnya Kaine) Saunders; daughter, Trina Jacobs-Reid; grandchildren, Shawn Fife, Mitchell Lauzon, Zeth Saunders, Gage Saunders. He also leaves his brothers, Von (Roma) Saunders, Ivan (Shirley) Saunders and sister, Ivy Phillips and a circle of other relatives and friends. Pastors Fraser Roberts and Elaine Rideout conducted funeral service at Jubilee Pentecostal Temple, Botwood on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 with interment at the Pentecostal cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers were Terence Saunders, Jason Baggs, Corey Saunders, Roy Saunders, Tony Roberts and Quenton Stuckless.
