On November 16, 2006 Mr. Ignatius (Angus) Bajowsky passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Bajowsky, one daughter Maryann (Michele) Longo of Kamloops and two sons Michael Bajowsky of Golden and Edward (Rosemary) of Revelstoke. He also leaves to cherish his memory five grandchildren, Colton, Strathon, Kale, Amy and Joseph. Angus was predeceased by his father, mother, brother Nick and sister Jenny. He was born in 1924 in Itichowici, Poland (Ukraine). After serving in the Polish Army, at 24 years old, he moved to Canada to work for the Canadian Pacific Railway as a track worker for 1 year. He then worked in a coal mine and went back to CP Rail working his way up the ranks to engineer. In 1954, Angus married the love of his life Mary Bobyak and together they had three children Michael, Edward and Maryann. He retired in Revelstoke after 36 years service with CP Rail in 1986. Angus loved his fruit trees and gardening. His hobbies included reading and playing cards. Dad will be fondly remembered for his love to dance and the wink in his eye. Angus passed away peacefully with his wife, daughter and son-in-law by his side. A private family service will be held later. Always remembered never forgotten.
