After gracefully embracing dementia Catherine (Darrach) MacNevin joined the angels on January 30, 2012.
Catherine was surrounded by both her immediate and Prince Edward Home families. Catherine is survived by her husband J. Robert MacNevin; her five children, Darrell (Pam predeceased), Beverly (Gordon MacLean), Marlene Good, Donnie (Judy) MacNevin, and Judy (John) Malone. Dear grandmother of Roberta and Jason (Wendy) MacNevin, Matthew (Catherine) and Jennifer MacLean, Whitney and Katherine Good, Katie, Kim, and Colin MacNevin, Daniel and Vanessa MacDonald and one great-grandchild Sadie MacNevin. Also survived by brothers and sisters Billy (Mildred) Darrach, Hilda (Garfield) MacKinnon, Florence (Lowell) Campbell, Curtis (Lea) Crozier as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, until Thursday, February 2, 2012, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prince Edward Home #2 East or Argyle Shore Cemetery.
Interment in Argyle Shore Cemetery.
