May 2, 1927 - December 1, 2009. Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit on Monday, December 1, 2009, Marion Smith of Norman’s Cove in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her husband Llewellyn; son Gerald; son-in-law Angus Warren; granddaughter Leane; mother and father, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Leaving to mourn with so many precious memories daughter Fronie; sons: Larry (Cynthia), Edward (Minnie); daughter-in-law Susie; ten grandchildren who dearly adored her: Paul (Trina) Warren, Paulette (Tony) Osmond, Kenny (Karen) Smith, Kristofer Smith, Steve Smith (Cathy), Jillian Smith (Collin), Tommy Smith (Barb), Stephanie (Josh) Piercey, Eddie Smith (Leigh) and Evan; ten darling great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Katie and Hannah Warren, Albert, Aaren and Abigail Piercey, Ryan Osmond, Nathan Smith, Katarina Smith and Caeden White. Also lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Dorcas Smith; brothers-in-law: Robert J. Smith and Arthur Parsons; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Bethel United Church, Norman’s Cove on Wednesday, December 2nd with visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, December 3rd 10-12 noon, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Bethel United Church on Friday, December 4th 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Bethel United Church Cemetery.
