Passed peacefully away at Placentia Cottage Hospital on Friday, January 27, 2012, Charles E. Didham, age 71 years, of Colinet, St. Mary’s Bay. Predeceased by his wife Helen (nee Barlow); parents, Edmund and Maude; brothers: Hugh and William; sister Margaret; brother-in-law Derm Evans. He leaves to mourn his partner of 9 years, Monica St. Croix and her family; his son, Christopher, (Ft. McMurray); daughter Charlene; grandson Christian, (Hants Harbour); step-children: Richard (Joya), Patricia and her sons: Andrew & Mitchell, brothers: Kevin (Margaret), Ben (Sandra), Hugh (Callista), Dick (Bernadette), Edward (Maureen); sisters: Rose (Peter Collins), Millie (Bob Randell), Nellie Evans, a large number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. At Charles’ request cremation has taken place. Visitors will be welcomed at Our Lady of Grace Church Wakeroom on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
