It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo MacArthur announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the age of 65 years. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Rolanda (Eugene) March of British Columbia, seven brothers: Brian of Codroy Valley, Leonard (Anne Marie) of Codroy Valley, Jim (Audrey) of Port au Port, Francis (Donna) of Nova Scotia, Richard (Diane) of Ontario, Michael of Ontario, Kevin (Mary) of Nova Scotia, one sister, Loretta (Gerard) Brownrigg of Codroy Valley, five grandchildren: Jamie, Steven, Joanie, Jesse, Jayden and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Doreen and son Roland. Visitation took place at the Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East with cremation to follow. Interment will take place on Friday, February 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville.
