On Monday, November 20, 2006 Christine Sarah Haller of Kamloops passed away at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her daughters Rose Haller (Ralph Grinder) of Clinton, Irene (Charlie) Boffa of Heffley Creek and Audrey (Kurt) Thielen of Fort St. John; grandchildren and great grandchildren Chuck (Sonny), Lynn, Sue, Linda, Cole, Lane, Brandon, Colby, Dylan, Alan, Kierra, Colton and Broedon. Christine was born in High Bar (Clinton) on August 7, 1927. She loved the sport of rodeo. A rancher by profession, she and her husband Richard were rodeo contractors supplying bucking horses for the local rodeos. She has made her home in Kamloops for the past 40 years. During this time, she enjoyed working with her hands, sewing and mending. Christine loved birds, wildlife and "being there" for her grandchildren. At Christine's personal request a private family service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006. Her cremated remains will rest in a niche at Evergreen Mausoleum, Hillside Cemetery.
