Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Hospital on January 23, 2012, Charlotte Rice (Mommy Charlotte) of Red Head Cove, aged 98 years. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas, parents, John and Mary Josephine, grandsons, Thomas McCarthy and Gary Rice and great grandson, Kyle Snelgrove. Precious mother of Edmund, Mary, Bren (Margaret), Joe (Margaret), Helen (Billy), and Bob (Marie), she also leaves with wonderful memories a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends.Funeral services were held at the Assumption Parish in Bay de Verde on January 27, 2012. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Bay de Verde.
