Lieu de décès : Canada

JORGENSON - Neil Edwin Jorgenson of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Cabri, SK, on November 7, 1951, and was the third child born to Mabel and Raymond Jorgenson of Abbey. Neil was raised on the farm at Abbey, SK, and graduated from Abbey High School. He continued his education at SIAST in Moose Jaw and become a journeyman automotive mechanic. He worked and farmed for many years in and around the Abbey district where he was well-known for his exceptional mechanical skills. He also worked a number of different jobs in western Canada and finally settled in Moose Jaw. Neil was predeceased by his first wife, Diane (Damm) and his father Raymond. He is survived by his two children: daughter Kelli and her son Jayden; son Kris and Courtney and their two sons Bryden and Kyler; his mother Mabel, and siblings Patricia (Gary) Down, Ross (Pat) Jorgenson, Donna (Hans) Schubert, Bonnie (Kevin) Gillies, and special friend Darlene Eisen. He is also fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. We’re all so very grateful that he maintained his quirky ways and unique sense of humour to the very end. At his request, no service will be held. Relatives and friends were invited to a ‘celebration of his life’ on Saturday, December 5, at the Abbey Legion Hall from 5 to 8 pm.
