Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, February 2, 2012, Victor ‘Vic’ Emberley of Bay de Verde, age 66 years. Predeceased by mother: Lydia; sister: Catherine North; brother: Norman; nephew: Rickie and brother-in-law: Bren North. Left to mourn, father: Paul, Bay de Verde; two brothers: Eric (Maudie) and Alfred, both of Bay de Verde; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rev. Michael Carruthers conducted the funeral service on Sunday, February 5 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde. Interment was in St. Barnabas Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
