RICHARD, GERARD “PIP” - 1951-2012 - ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB- Gerard Richard 60, of St. Louis passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne on Thursday, February 2nd, 2012. Born in Collette, he was the son of the late Arthur and the late Marguerite (Richard) Richard. Gerard will be sadly missed by his common law spouse; Wanita Atkinson, daughter; Lorna (Richard) son; Sheldon (Sylvie), Allan, grandchildren; Max, Sarah, Sam, Ashley, Annick, sisters; Lorraine, Beatrice, Jeannine, Gerarda, Claudette, Maria, Jacinthe, Eliane, Leoda, brothers; Claude, Alfred, Leo, François, Arthur, Réginald, Réjean, Daniel, uncles; Armand and Auguste, good friend Therese as well as by several nieces and nephews. Other than by his parents, Gerard was predeceased by eight sisters and three brothers.
Resting at Thompson’s Memorial Home, St. Louis with visitation on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Monday from 12:00 pm until time of funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 6th, 2012 at 2:00 pm, at the St. Louis des Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis. Donations in Gerard memory may be made to L’Auberge (Dr. George-L.-Dumont Hospital) or to the family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
