HANSEN, ALICE - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, February 3, 2012, Mrs. Alice Faye Hansen of New Denmark passed away on her 72nd birthday. She was the wife of A. Paul Hansen who passed away in 2000. Born at New Denmark in 1940, she was a daughter of the late Sigurd and Beatrice (Sorensen) Svendsen. Alice is survived by two children, Shelley Hansen-Everett (Allen) of Aroostook and Kendall (Margaret Beukeveld) of Fredericton, three grandchildren, Haley Everett, Lindsay Everett and Sunaa Hansen, one brother, Lloyd Svendsen (Sharon) of Fredericton, two sisters, Nathalie Copp of Tottenham, Ontario and Carol Hendricksen (Kevin) of New Denmark, mother-in-law, Iona Hansen of New Denmark, sister-in-law, Anna Johnston (Charles) of New Denmark, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Monday, February 6th at 2 p.m. from St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, New Denmark with Rev.
