On December 5, 2006 Mrs. Helen Bertha Smith passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her daughter Shirley Newman and son Doug Smith both of Kamloops, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Helen will also be remembered by her sister Florence in Saskatchewan and numerous other family members. A private family service was held.
