Passed away at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook, George McIlwraith Smith in his 82nd year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Theresa (nee Downey), children Sheila (Eric Guile), Carolyn (John Bouchard), Jamie (Louise White), Greg (Irene Muzychka), Tina, Paula (Jessé Saunders), Laura (Stephen McGuigan), and grandchildren Trevor and Devon Guile, Nicholas, Christopher (Casey) and Sarah Bouchard, Michael and Richard Smith, Andrew and Stefanie Smith, Maxwell, Alexander and Maria Fillatre, Sophie Saunders and Alison and Brendan McGuigan. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 Mark’s Avenue on Monday from the hours 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at 1:30 p.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes and Rev.
