JANZEN Samuel Janzen of Kamloops passed away on December 16, 2006 at 79 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife Louise, children George (Sue) Janzen of Kamloops, Flora of Kamloops, and Tom of Burnaby; grandchildren Stacey, Brent, Jeremy, Justin, Amber, and Erik; great grandchildren Dakota, Barrett, and Peyton; and siblings Esther, Linda, Clarence (Mary) and Anne. He was predeceased by his sisters Martha and Susie, and his brothers Henry, Frank, and John. Sam was born in Langham, Saskatchewan. He worked at CPI Industries in Saskatoon. While living in Saskatchewan, he met his future wife Louise. From Saskatoon, Sam and Louise moved with their three children to Kamloops. He started as a glazier at Kamloops Glass. Sam welcomed the opportunity to move on with Frank Lucciani as he was starting his new business, Inland Glass and Aluminum. He was a loyal and dedicated employee until his retirement. Sam enjoyed gardening and loved showing off his flowers and vegetables. His grandchildren were a never-ending source of joy and he loved them dearly. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 21, 2006 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Clark officiating. Following the service, Sam will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, 2675 Oak Street Vancouver, BC, V6H 2K2 in memory of Sam.
