HENRI With tremendous sadness our family has lost a great man. Joseph Louis Robert Henri passed away suddenly on December 17, 2006. Robert lived life. He was a man of integrity and loved his family through the kind words he shared. Robert was born in Witchekan Lake, Saskatchewan on September 8,1923. He spent his youth traveling and working throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta. He met his bride Rachel Pearson on a train and on October 22, 1951 they were married in Nampa, Alberta. They started their family in Peace River, Alberta raising three sons, Denis, Remi and Roger and after moving to Lac La Hache in the 1950's resided in Kamloops in the 60's where they brought another son, Daniel into the world. Tragedy struck in 1975 when their beloved Roger passed away. In the late 1980's Dad had a dream in building their final home on Charlotte Lake. Dad was extremely devoted and had a work ethic that was admirable. Dad is now in the arms of the Lord and is having a reunion with his son. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Rachel, sons Denis (Gail) Henri, Remi (Carolyn) Henri, Daniel (Selena) Henri, grandchildren Darcy (Cathy) Henri, Candace, Coralie and Reilly; great grandchildren Brody, Tristan, Keidin. Also mourning his loss are siblings Paul, Leon, Rose, Marguerite, Armond and Aime. Predeceased by parents Oscar and Amelia Henri, sisters Alice and Marie also brothers Fernand, Edmond, Raymond and George. Prayers will be recited on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Peter Nguyen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
