VAUGHAN 1927 - 2006 Sophie Vaughan of Kamloops B.C., passed away on December 19, 2006 at 79 years of age. She is survived by her loving husband Jack, daughter Cathy DuVall of Kamloops; grandchildren Tammy and Eli DuVall; brothers and sisters Mary, Doris, Rose, Anne, Kaye, Eli, Gloria, Eunice, Josie, Irene and Nick. Sophie was predeceased by her parents Katrina and Elias, sisters Helen, Lil and Olga, and brother Bill. Sophie was born in 1927 in Wostok, Alberta. She lived in New Westminster from 1946 to 1955, Prince George for three years and then in Kamloops. She loved her garden and flowers. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 12:00-1:45 p.m. in the Rosewood Room at Kamloops Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2006 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan Hines officiating. Following the service, Sophie will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial donations in Sophie's memory may be made to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice House, 72 Whiteshield Crescent South, Kamloops, B.C., V2E 2S9 in lieu of flowers.
