(1933-2012) - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, February 5th, 2012 in the presence of his daughter Carol, brother Bruce and sister-in-law Helen. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Beatrice, sister Carol, and daughter Cynthia. Leaving to mourn his daughter Carol (Shawn) Tracey; son John (Denise) Lane; grandchildren: Amanda, Hollie, Matthew and Daniel; spouse Joyce Lane; brothers: Bruce (Helen) and Phillip (Connie); sisters: Dot Goulding, Dulsie Gosse, Enid Jones and Patricia Davis; also a large circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Tuesday, February 7th, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 8th, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Funeral service to follow at Barrett’s Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date.
