Sharon Lynn Mraz of Kamloops, BC passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 72 years of age.

Sharon is survived by her sons Bill (Tina) DeNeef, Bob DeNeef and Rod DeNeef, all of Kamloops; grandchildren Derek (Terri) DeNeef and Breanna DeNeef; Jason DeNeef, Rick (Kristan) DeNeef, and Clayton DeNeef (mother Debbie); Natasha DeNeef and Alysha DeNeef (mother Lori); Coleton DeNeef and Cora DeNeef (mother Nina); great grandchildren Dexter DeNeef, Zoe DeNeef, Heidi DeNeef, Taylor DeNeef, Avery DeNeef, Josh DeNeef, Beau DeNeef, Cadence DeNeef and Tanner DeNeef; her sisters Joan (Tom) Thompson and Wendy Wiebe; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by Martin Mraz (2006), Joseph DeNeef (1992) and sister Nadine Hoffman (2005).

Sharon loved knitting, fishing, dancing and telling stories, stretching it into anything for a laugh. She managed Lilac Gardens Apartments for 23 years.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Sharon's caretakers, Lisa Belcher and Diane Lytle.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2009 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Vern Frudd officiating. Viewing will take place in the Rosewood Room from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Following the service, Sharon will be laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery.
