Kenneth Levy
LEVY, KENNETH - Kenneth Edward Levy, 81, of Petitcodiac, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on February 6, 2012. Born in Montreal, he was a son of the late Stanley and Gertrude (Evans) Levy. Ken was retired from the CNR as a building and bridges foreman, and had served in the Royal Canadian Navy. He was a member of the Petitcodiac Sportsmen’s Club, and a member and Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 41. Ken was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to fish. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Levy (nee Armstrong); his daughters: Brenda O’Blenis (Lee) of Moncton, and Sandra Green (Andy) of Toronto; his step-sons: Bruce Anderson (Carrie) of Parkindale, Kevin Anderson (Karla) of St. Johns, NL, Robin Anderson (Tammy) of Petitcodiac, Wayne Morrell (Florence) of Oshawa, Robert Morrell (Marlene) of Salisbury; his step-daughter, Barbara Matheson (Bobby), of Salisbury; his sisters: Phyllis Lessard of Armpriror, ON, and Vera Watson of Kingston, ON; his brother, Douglas Levy (Ruth) of Ottawa; grandchildren: Luke, Erin, Kevin, Taya, Danylle, Britanni, Zachary, Morgan, Lesley, Samuel, Kathleen, Dylan, and Ethan; great-grandchildren: Patrick and Dania; step-son-in-law, Mike Lutes of Salisbury, his canine companion, Missy, and many other extended family members. Besides his parents, Ken was predeceased by his step-sons: Ted Anderson, and Greg Morrell; his step-daughter, Tina Lutes; his sisters: Eileen, Grace, Doris, and Dorothy; his brothers: Stanley, Buster, Ronald, Robert, and Jack.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm; the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 41 will be holding a tribute service on Wednesday at 6:45 pm; the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Keith Adams presiding, all in Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell St., Petitcodiac. Interment will be held in the Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
