Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on December 3, 2009, Bernice Cook, age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Allan, brothers Hayward and Peter Burrage and sister Emily Barnes. Leaving to mourn her son Gerry and wife Louise; granddaughter Lynette Walsh (Ian), Charlotte, North Carolina; grandson Daniel Cook (Julie), Fenelon Falls, Ont.; great-grandchildren: Caelan, Brenna, Liam Walsh, Ella Cook; sister-in-law and dear friend Ruth Burrage; brother-in-law Hector Barnes; special friend Norman Stokes, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to
12 noon. Funeral service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
