PERRY, DAVID JOSEPH - It is with heavy hearts the family announces the death of David Joseph Perry, which occurred on Tuesday February7, 2012 at Bobby’s Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Born in 1952 in Saint John he was the son of MarieAmelia Perry and the late Lawrence J. Perry. Besides his mother he is survived by his only daughter Ashley Tayes (Andrew) of Saint John; three grandsons Dawson, Noah and Issac; one brother George (Sandra) of Fredericton; sisters Betty Adams (Frank) and Carol Winchester both of Saint John; several nieces and nephews and many friends. David was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, grampy and friend; he was a talented musician and poet and enjoyed fishing and golfing in Westfield and Saint John. He spent many summers tending to his beautiful garden. He fought bravely and kept a positive attitude through his eight year battle with cancer. He will be missed by many but is now at peace.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).By request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
