Lamont, Mary Elizabeth – Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, at Lisaard House in Cambridge, on Thursday, December 3, 2009, in her 71st year.

Dear life partner of Doris Uebele of Kitchener, for 43 years. Loving sister of Shirley McMillan of PEI, Cecil Lamont (Joan), Ellie Suttis (Dale), Francis Lamont (Diane), Jim Lamont (Pat), Harry Lamont (Betty) and Maria Higgins (Gary), all of Truro, N.S. Also survived by her step-mother, Annie Lamont-Romyn and her husband John of Truro; and all Mary’s nieces, nephews and extended family in Cambridge, Kitchener and Toronto.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 1 p.m. Reception in the funeral home immediately following the service.
