CASEY, Fred J. – Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, Fred J. Casey, age 80 years. Predeceased by brothers Kevin, William, Edward, sister Elizabeth and daughter Carol. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Virginia (Pye Chafe); daughters: Diane, Jean (Walt Siemens), Trich (Lenny Cox), Peggy (Rob Ashley), Geri (Myrna and Ben); sons: Paul (Jennifer Kearsey), Bill (Carol Barry), Fred (Paula Leawood); twelve grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brothers: Jack (Barbara Healey), Mike (Myrtle Searle), and Herby; sister Mary (Alban Hearn); and sister-in-law Mary Casey as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Friday, December 4th and Saturday, December 5th, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service Sunday, December 6th at 1:00 p.m. from Caul’s Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
