The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, of Eva Gallant, of Andrews Lodge, Summerside, age 95 years. Born in Howlan, she was the daughter of the late Arsene and Josephine (Martin) Arsenault. Survived by her children, Elyse Muttart, Summerside; John (Lynne) Gallant, Charlottetown; Paul (Donna) Gallant, Travellers Rest; Marjorie DeBodt, Coldbrook, N.S.; Claire (Mike) Gaudet, Summerside; grandchildren, Keely (Mike) Vos, Stratford; Evan Gallant, Charlottetown; Lyndsey Gallant, Halifax; Lee Gallant, Summerside; Nicole (Mike) Jodrey, Halifax; Kathryn and Lauren DeBodt, Ottawa; great-grandchildren, Lola Vos and Julia Jodrey; sister Ursula (Ernest) Arsenault, Halifax and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Gilbert Gallant; brother, Alban Arsenault; sister, Delma Gallant; and by two sisters in infancy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Saturday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside.
