On Saturday, December 23, 2006 Mrs. Margaret Bishop of Chase passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her loving husband Reg, son Walter (Christine) of Prince George, daughter Karen (Rick) Alexander of Kamloops, her four grandchildren Julie Garber, Barbara Guignard, Justin Alexander and Bradley Alexander, five great grandchildren Sheldon, Austin, Larissa, Meagan and Logan and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was born on September 25, 1922 in Renown, Saskatchewan. She served in WW11 with the CWAC attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. In 1949, she married Reg in Victoria. They resided in Lone Butte for some 35 years, before coming to make their home in Chase in 1990. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with Pastor Don Maione officiating.
