On December 22, 2006, Norah Lilie Miller passed away at the age of 84 years. Norah is survived by two sons: Ken (Judi) Miller of Vancouver, and Brent (Alison) Miller of Kamloops. Daughters-in-law, Fran of Kamloops, and Shannon of Smithers. Grandchildren: Darrell, Stacey, Blair, Kristi, Lauren and Katie. Norah also leaves behind her brother Jim (Sheila) Duthie of Ottawa, and her sister Dorothy Schofield, and many nieces and nephews. Norah was predeceased by her husband Ernie, her sons John and Jim, her twin sister Janet, and daughter-in-law Debbie. Norah and Ernie were one of the first families to settle in Valleyview, they lived in the same home for 57 years where they raised their 4 sons. Norah was very active in the community, and loved life in Valleyview. Norah took great pride in her garden, and loved to spend time there working and visiting with her family, many close friends and neighbours. Norah and Ernie especially enjoyed spending time with family and close friends at their cabin at Heffley Lake, where many happy memories were made. Norah's great love was her family, which she was the centre of. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on 13 Jan, 2007 at Schoenings.
