JOHN LEWIS JAMIESON 1912 - 2007 John passed away in Kamloops on January 1, 2007 at the age of 94 years. He was born in Vernon, B.C. on April 4, 1912. He came to Kamloops with his parents, John and Catherine Jamieson at the age of 3. He married Ruby (Sturgeon) in 1938. John was predeceased by his wife Ruby and brother Robert "Bob". John was employed with the B.C. Provincial Government Public Works Department at Tranquille, B.C. before retiring in 1977. He was an avid cyclist and cross country skier. He participated in numerous Senior Games over his 70's and 80's and came away with many medals in cross country skiing and bicycling. John leaves to cherish his memory his son Doug of Kamloops and daughter Joan (Phil) Warden of Quesnel, B.C. He is survived by four grandchildren Deanna (Michel) of Ottawa, Jim Jamieson and Kelli (Brian) Jamieson both of Revelstoke, Bill Warden of Quesnel. Also, he leaves four great grandchildren and nephew Johnny Jamieson of Kamloops. A private family service will be held at a later date.
