EILEEN MABEL BABUICK April 12, 1924 - January 14, 2007 Eileen Babuick passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at Royal Inland Hospital January 14, 2007. Eileen was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 1991 and her eldest son Ralph in 2000. Eileen is survived by Karlau (George) Uyeda, children Shelley, Bryan and Tanya, Ralph (deceased) (Bernadine) Babuik, children Brice, Shane and Chelsey, Lloyd Babuik, children Cholena and Jennifer, Elaine (Barry) Singh, children Andrew and Jason, Llyle (Lorraine) Babuik, children Ronnie, Lisa, Deenen and Greg, Vern Babuik and children Leah and Holly, Jacqui (Rod) Brogden, children Alexis, Stephanie and Alison, Heidi Babuik, daughter Nicole. Along with her grandchildren she was the proud great grandmother of nine great grandchildren and "Dot" along the way. Mom is fondly remembered for her creativity, quick wit and generosity towards family and friends. Raising eight children in difficult times was not easy for her, but Mom took on this role with great importance. She valued each of us as individuals, and was there for advice only if we asked for it. She never interfered or judged us on the decisions we made with our lives. She will be sadly missed. The family wishes to express our sincere thanks to the many staff members of 6 South, 3 South and 3 West at Royal Inland Hospital, for the care and support provided to our Mother and our family. We also wish to thank Dr's Prystawa, Tynan, and Navratil. We especially wish to express our thanks to Dr. Dong for his compassion and caring ways towards our Mother and family.
