ROBITAILLE (McLaughlin), Helen Patricia "Pat"

— It is with deep peace, faith and love that Patricia Helen Robitaille passed away to join her beloved husband, Normand at the age of 77 on December 2, 2009. She was surrounded by her family, who is deeply saddened yet knows that she is free. Patricia will be dearly missed by her children Keith, Rachael, Giselle, Maria, and Colette; grandchildren, Joel, Kristopher, Amanda, Nicholas, Jacob and Laurel and son-in-laws, Albert, Alan and Paul. She is predeceased by her husband and her first born daughter, Kimberly. Born in Bristol, Vermont, she was the daughter of James and Marguerite McLaughlin. Patricia at a very young age became a passionate violinist which was a consistent shimmering thread in the tapestry of her rich life. She lived fully her compassion for humanity in all she pursued. She was a beautifully devoted mother and wife and at age 45 began to pursue her studies and graduated with masters in social work in Halifax. While volunteering at Help Line she worked as a clinical therapist at a Recovery House. She opened a private practice in Truro. She pursued further studies in Theology to become a palliative care counsellor. She was a profoundly devoted Christian who lived her spirituality in everything she did in life. She will live forever in our hearts as a symphony of love and light. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 7 in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewod Dr., Halifax. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8 in St. Ignatius Church, Bedford. Burial will take place in Watson Street Cemetery at a later date.
