The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, December 6, 2009, of Joyce Gallant (nee Paquet) of Sherwood and formerly of Souris, age 73 years.
Much loved mother of Derek (Lauraine), David, Kim (Ensor) McNeill, Randy (Paula) and Robert (Libby). Survived by brothers, David (Elaine), Bert (Cameilla) and Leo (Mary). Loved and sadly missed by 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Frank and Mary Paquet.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday morning, 9:30 a.m. until funeral time.
Funeral to be held on Thursday morning, December 10, 2009, to St. Mary\'s Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
If so desired, memorials made in Joyce\'s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Souris Hospital Equipment Fund would be appreciated.
