The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side at the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, of Bonnie Sherren (nee Gauthier), wife of the late LeRoy Sherren, of Rusticoville, age 97.
Bonnie is survived by her sister, Inez Orr, Rhode Island; brother, Herbert (Norma), Rusticoville; sister-in-law, Yvonne Gauthier; special niece, Kyra; special grandnephew, Kyle; niece, Cindy (Keith); nephews, Glenn (Shelley), Scott (Mary) and Dana; and numerous grandnieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Jerry and Annie (Poirier) Gauthier, she was predeceased by her brothers, John and Francis; sisters, Nora Batchilder (Emmett) and Margaret, in infancy; and brother-in-law, Bill Orr.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, February 17, 2012, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at 2 p.m. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
