September 29, 1949 - December 4, 2009. It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARTHA R. WHIFFEN of Boat Harbour announces her passing at her home in Boat Harbour on Friday, December 4, 2009 at the age of 60. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband John of 39 years; son Mark (Heather) Whiffen of Montreal; daughter Trina Whiffen (Ross Matterface) of Rushoon; five grandchildren Skylar, D'Artagnan, Dylan, Logan, and Chase; plus a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by parents James and Sarah Walters. Resting and visitation to take place from Christ The King R.C. Church in Rushoon on Saturday December 5th from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Sunday December 6th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Prayer vigil to be held on Sunday, December 6th at 7 p.m. from Christ The King R.C. Church in Rushoon. Funeral Mass to take place at Christ The King R.C. Church in Rushoon on Monday December 7th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Rushoon.
