Peters: Madeline Ellen, age 93, of Swift Current passed away February 9, 2012 at the Swift Current Care Centre. The Funeral Service was held Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. from the Salvation Army Chapel with Captain Michael Ramsay officiating. The pianist was Captain Susan Ramsay. Life Tribute was presented by Richard Parr. The pallbearers were Rob Weiterman, Gunnar Huntley, Richard Weiterman, Shaun Hanna, Jared Weinbender and Lisa Bos. The interment service took place at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Madeline is survived by one brother Ralph Huntley of Regina, Sk. She was predeceased by her parents Steven Gilbert Huntley and Elisabeth Louisa (Goers) Huntley; her husband James Peters; son Gilbert Peters; two brothers; Ben Huntley and Cecil Huntley; six sisters, Bertha Fisher, Lillian Stevenson, Dorothy Frederick, Clyte Frederick, Alice Weiterman and Betty Harris. Madeline was born on September 1, 1918 in Maple Creek, Sk. She married James Peters in Tompkins. Madeline was a long service member of the Salvation Army in Swift Current.
