Peacefully at the Garden Home on Friday, February 17, 2012 of Mrs. Marie Kathleen Cannon (nee Callaghan) of Charlottetown in her 85th year.
Daughter of the late Jane and Patrick Callaghan. Sister of the late Vincent and Eddie Callaghan and the late Helen Flynn. Beloved wife of the late Joseph "Bubbles" Cannon and dear mother of Pat Thompson (Lennie), Joe (deceased), Linda (deceased), Lorne (Sandra), Joyce (deceased), Claire Francis-Acorn (deceased) (Barry), and Adera Bradley (Brian). Honorary mother to Kenny "Boots" and Koreen "GoGo" MacDonald. Special grandmother to Gwen Cannon (Jason), Paul Buell, Joey Cannon (Andrea), Christine Cannon, Monica Cannon (Corey), Lisa Cannon (Dwayne), Amy Francis (Kent) and Christopher Francis. Great-grandmother to MacKayla, Brittany, Kyra and Cameron. Sister-in-law to Phyllis Todd, Wilma and Donald Tracey, Dot and Glen Potter, Adera and Tony Garron, Charles and Joan Cannon, Pat and Edna Cannon, Wendell and Betty Cannon and Kevin Flynn. She is also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday 4 to 7 p.m.
