It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lynda Casey on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney with her family by her side.
Born in Montreal, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Joseph Caviola and Concetta Crisafi.
Lynda is survived by her loving husband, Terry Casey; her daughter, Kathleen Casey, New Brunswick; her two sisters, Lise (Claude) Thivierge, Quebec, Francine Davignon, Quebec; as well as nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Gilles Davignon.
Cremation has taken place. Family are receiving visitors for Lynda, on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 7-9 p.m.
There will be no funeral service as requested by the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton or the Cape Breton Cancer Centre Patient Fund.
