Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Palliative Care Unit of Mount Sinai Hospital, Montreal, QC on Thursday, February 16, 2012, of Christian H. Gavard, of Montreal, QC, and formerly of P.E.I., in his 39th year. Beloved husband of Angela Dupuis. He is also survived by his parents, Claude Gavard and Crystal (nee Bailey) Gavard (Lynne F. Murphy), brother and sisters Kylie (Tuit) Gavard, Tamara Gavard (Richard Court) and Samantha Gavard (Brodie Sanderson), nephew Kyan and niece Nealah. Family will receive friends at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home on Friday, February 24, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Celebration of Christian’s Life to be held at the Haviland Club, 2 Haviland Street, on Sunday, February 26, 2012, starting at 6:30 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Canadian Melanoma Foundation.
