It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lester Roberts announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Violet, 3 sons; Vaughn (Lynn) Windsor of St. John's, Todd (Debby) White of Stephenville and Perry (Jana) White of Baden, Ont. 3 daughters: Paula (Brian) King of Deer Lake, Debbie (Paul) O'Neil of Stephenville, and Theresa (Ken) of Wingham, Ont. 6 Brothers: Al (Dot), Scott (Linda), Bruce (Lynn), Doug (Ruth), Chris (Joyce), and Ray, 3 Sisters: Margaret (Ron), Ruby (Gordon), Audrey (Renn). 10 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Harvey and Beryl Roberts and brothers Max and Gill. Funeral Service will take place Monday, February 20, 2012 at 2 P.M. from the Zion Pentecostal Church Carolina Ave. Stephenville, Pastor Moral Bess officiating, with interment to follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. Donations to a charity of ones choice would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Russell's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Stephenville.
