BOYLE On Thursday, January 18th, 2007, Mrs. Alice Agnes Boyle of Kamloops passed away at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Bill in August of 2001, she is survived by three sons: Raymond (Myra) of Kamloops; Bernie (Glenna) of Georgetown, Ontario; and Bill (Trish) of Erin, Ontario; five grandchildren: Ashley Boyle and Courtney Morice of Kamloops, Brendon Boyle of Georgetown and Jack and Colin Boyle of Erin. She also leaves to cherish her memory four sisters and one brother: Pat and Mary Branagan in Ireland; Mary Ann Newtonards of Belfast, Northern Ireland; Katie and Paddy Garvey of Stock Port, Cheshire, England; sisters in law Margaret Melanson of Montreal, Bridgie of Minto, Australia; Susan of Royston, Herts, London, England; Eileen Martin of London, England, many nieces and nephews in Ireland; and her special and dear friends Ivory Rowand, Trent and Leslie Gustafson, Sandy Poettcker and Helen Ksik. Mrs. Boyle, born Alice Branagan, was born and raised in Cashel County, Monaghan, Ireland. She met Bill at his home in Ireland in 1953. Bill was on holidays from Canada. They kept in touch for a couple of years, and in 1955, Bill brought Alice to Canada. They got married in Teslin, Yukon, on December 22, 1955. Fifty below on their wedding day!
