LAWRENCE ROBERT BRADSHAW June 28, 1926 - January 30, 2007 We sadly announce the passing of Lawrence Bradshaw in his 81st year, at his home in Kamloops. Laurie is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Marian; he will be greatly missed by his children Joanne (Jim) Ericksteen of Sorrento, Donna (Chris) Hartnell of Kamloops, Patricia (Kirk) Aulin of Eluthera, Bahamas, Maureen (Duayne) Thompson of Prince George, Allan (Teri) Bradshaw of Seattle, Mary Lou (Gary) Allen of Prince George and their mother Frances (Russ) Dobell of Kamloops. Also left to cherish his memory, his sister Helen Maxwell of Ladner and brother Jack Bradshaw of Williams Lake, stepsons James Laurie and Murray Glen Maclagan. His best friend Vic Strikaitis will greatly miss his old woodcarving buddy, as will many other co-workers and friends who knew his door was always open with hospitality and stories of the old days. Laurie was predeceased by his father Herbert Bradshaw, mother Laure Clarke, infant son Stephen and brother Donald Bradshaw. Papa Laurie leaves a large extended family of nieces and nephews with a legacy of 17 grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the many home visits and ongoing care during the last difficult days, to Dr. R. Haugen, nurse Jeanine and the many others who where there for him. A Celebration of Laurie's life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with The Reverend Norman Wilkinson officiating.
