ARSENAULT, IRÈNE - 1922 - 2012 - Irène Arsenault, 89 of Bouctouche passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital on Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was married to the late Joseph Arsenault (1994). Born in Bouctouche on June 11th, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Henri and the late Azélia (Richard) Cormier. She will be sadly missed by her five children; Huguette Jaillet (Eric) of Bouctouche Bay, Doris Deschênes (Donald) of Saint-Léonard, Jolène Gallant (Alphé) of Grande-Digue, Rhéal (Thérèse) of Bouctouche and Terrance (Anise) of Cocagne, her eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn two sisters; Raymonde Mills (Joseph) of Bouctouche Bay and Rose-Mai Allain (Donald) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Léa, and five brothers; Dismas, Léandre, Fred, Aurèle, and Léo.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am and 2 to 4. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 at 4:15 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Irène’s memory donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
